Having grown up near Toronto and now residing in Vancouver, I was thrilled to hear that Jaeger-LeCoultre would be gracing both of these fine Canadian cities with their own boutiques. These boutiques are Jaeger-LeCoultre’s first in Canada and, for watch fans that frequent either city, the addition is nothing short of exciting, as boutiques generally offer a wider selection and better access to special models than an authorized dealer might be able to provide.The dial details of the pink gold Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic Universal TimeWhile Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal have access to Jaeger-LeCoultre via authorized dealers, these new brand boutiques boast key locations that should connect well with each city. As Toronto is a mall-heavy city (for you foreigners, it’s a rather large and sprawling city), the Toronto Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique is located in the Yorkdale shopping center alongside many other watch retailers.
Seiko Presage Sakura Hubuki & Starlight 'Cocktail Time' Watches
Seiko continues to expand its popular “Cocktail Time” line of watches, now introducing a couple of new and attractive limited-edition dial executions apparently based on Japanese cocktails called Sakura Hubuki and Starlight. The original SARB065 Cocktail Time watch was officially sold only in Japan but developed an international following, and Seiko brought it back earlier this year with some new colors and now in the Presage family of watches with the SSA and SRPB models. Those featured some small changes while continuing the interesting radial dial texture of the original, but the overall theme is now broadened with the new Seiko Presage Sakura Hubuki and Starlight Cocktail Time watches, as I suppose we’ll call them.Seiko doesn’t officially “name” the watches but, as with the “Cocktail Time,” ostensibly allows the public to do so.
