Tim Mosso Of WatchBox Interview: Watch Collecting And The Digital Community Of Enthusiasts
Allow me to thank my friend Tim Mosso for letting me interview him for what could be the first of several articles on best watches. I first met Tim when he was the savant watch-knowledge guru at WatchUWatch. The company was acquired by Govberg Jewelers, which later re-positioned to WatchBox. Tim is best known for his regular watch presentations and discussion videos on YouTube, along with his disarmingly casual with fellow timepiece enthusiasts. Tim and I see eye to eye on more things than not when it comes to watches, yet he certainly has his own perspectives on collecting, buying, selling, and mere horological appreciation.Here are some questions we discussed about pre-owned watches, retail in the digital age, and collecting, along with his thoughtful responses:
Armin Strom Tourbillon Collection Watches Hands-On
Since the creation of their first totally in-house movement a few years ago, Swiss watch maker Armin Strom has been offering a unique variety of beautiful high-end sports watches with a surprising level of detailing and expert decoration. Here are two models in their Tourbillon Collection, which represent the higher-end of what is available. We have here the Tourbillon Racing as well as the Tourbillon Earth (ref. ST13-TE.90 from the Elements collection). There are also Tourbillon Fire and Air models each with their own distinct case materials and colors.
