Seiko Prospex Kinetic GMT Diver's 200m Watch Hands-On
Seiko Prospex watches are among the best sport watches out there when you want a very good bang for your buck. Rare in the United States, but popular in places such as Japan, the Prospex collection is understandably becoming more popular each year. New for 2014 are the Seiko Prospex Kinetic GMT Diver’s 200m watches (references SUN019, SUN021, and SUN023) that will be available globally, and for a few hundred bucks, they are very hard to beat.Rather amusingly (and not uncommon for Japanese brands) the official name of the watch is the Seiko Prospex Kinetic GMT Diver’s… It just ends there. Personally, I would have just called it the “Seiko Prospex Kinetic GMT 200m Diver,” but what do I know about the complex intricacies of watch nomenclature?

The people at the booth that year had limited English skills so I couldn’t learn that much, but I kept the brand on my personal radar to continue to watch as I knew it was only a matter of time until they started to show up in America. It took a few years but I think you can now get Alexander Shorokhoff in the USA. best watches friend Ray Grenon, and proprietor of Grenon’s of Newport in Rhode Island reached out, letting us know that they were now carrying the brand. Grenon’s is one of those rare watch stores in the US that carries cooler small brands in a
