Traser P67 Officer Pro Gun Metal Lime & Orange Watches Hands-On
At Baselworld 2017, Swiss Traser introduced a “trendy” tactical watch with the Traser P67 Officer Pro Gun Metal in bright Lime and Orange lumed dials. The watches are not terribly expensive and show a more lighthearted side of the brand which is mostly known for being the in-house brand of MB-Microtec who produces glowing tritium gas tubes. I think there is an appeal to wearing “tactical” watches without always wanting to look too tactical. Of course, not everyone will be into lime green or bright orange on their wrist all the time, but at least for a fun-looking timepiece such as this you don’t need to spend more than $500.The Traser P67 Officer Pro Gun Metal collection already had black-dialed versions with lime green or orange hour numerals. Seiko Prospex Blue Lagoon Samurai SRPB09 Limited Edition Watch Review
Earlier this year, Seiko introduced two “limited edition” watches to their Prospex line, the Blue Lagoon SRPB11 “Turtle” and SRPB09 “Samurai.” The new Turtle is similar to the SRP777 we reviewed here but it is the SRPB09 Samurai that grabbed my attention. The original Seiko Samurai watch was introduced in 2004, only to be discontinued a few years later. One of the less common “nicknamed” Seikos, I was thrilled to see that the Samurai was making a comeback (in blue, nonetheless). It’s funny, but when I got this watch?I wasn't actively looking at watches to buy, much?less?divers. But, as with many other Seikos, the value proposition was too good to resist at $550.Oddly, perhaps, I always seem to inadvertently have a blue Seiko dive watch in my rotation. I had a Seiko SNZH53 to quench that thirst and while that is a great value watch, it lacked some refinement in the design and finish, and so was slowly falling out of my usual rotation
