Clerc Hydroscaph H1 Watch
Here in the best watches watch dungeon, we are currently putting the new for 2013 Clerc Hydroscaph H1 watch through our rigorous watch testing procedures. So a hands-on review of the H1 will come in due time, but until then we’d like to share the news about this new three-hand version of the Clerc Hydroscaph, which is the H1.There will likely be a few versions of the H1. This is the steel model with a really lovely metallic blue dial. I wouldn’t have thought that a bright green trimmed minutes hand would have worked, but it does. The 44mm wide case is typical Hydroscaph with its unique design and patented rotating bezel locking system (that unfolds like a little winding key). The crown design appears to be new and is rather interesting.

Vantablack has to be one of the craziest materials out there. Previously used by?H. Moser & Cie. on its Endeavor?Perpetual Moon Concept Watch, one of the industry’s most expressive brands has done it again with the?H. Moser & Cie. Venturer Concept Vantablack watch.For the uninitiated, Vantablack was developed by UK-Based Surrey NanoSystems and is said to absorb +99% of visible light, creating a depthless black abyss where it’s applied. When used on a watch dial like H. Moser & Cie. has done here, it becomes the ultimate play with contrast. A bright 39mm polished 5n red gold case with matching red gold hands really pop next to this ultimate black. As this is a “concept watch,” the dial design forsakes the text and logo, providing a perfect canvas for contrast. The Venturer Concept watch houses the exquisitely decorated in-house HMC 327 Manufacture caliber movement from H. Moser & Cie., which is visible through the sapphire caseback. This movement
