i was pleasantly surprised when i got this watch. It has a very nice look for dress or casual. The construction and quality of the bracelet is really what makes this watch stand out. Adding to that, the dial has a simplicity of an older watch that looks classic with the band. would recommend it highly.

NEWS WATCHES

Urwerk UR-T8 Watch
For 2017, the technically inspired, avant-garde watchmaker Urwerk is releasing their Urwerk UR-T8 watch to?mark the 20th anniversary of the brand. A notable feature of the Urwerk UR-T8 is that it allows for the case to be flipped, kind of Reverso-style, to display the titanium caseback facing up while hiding/protecting the dial underneath. This design allows the wearer to change the look of the Urwerk UR-T8 on the fly between watch and “mystery object” on the wrist. Although the practical necessity of this function is questionable, it’s certainly attention-grabbing and another interesting twist from the unconventional Swiss watchmaker. It should be noted that Urwerk is calling this their first transformable watch. When the dial is hidden, the Urwerk UR-T8 offers a static, yet highly textured look that can definitely serve as a real conversation piece. If the wearer wants to revert back and show the dial, it’s only a matter of squeezing the two buttons on the side
Is META Watch Pursuing A Patent On All Analog/Digital Dial Smartwatches?
META Watch was co-founded by Bill Geiser, who earned his watch industry stripes while working at Fossil. Whatever you might say about Fossil products, what you need to know is that it is run by some extremely smart and professional people out of its Dallas, Texas, headquarters. Geiser went on to be one of the earliest proponents of modern smart watches. According to him, he has been wearing a Bluetooth connected watch for about five years now-perhaps the only one wearing one for so long. Today, Bill Geiser is the CEO of META Watch that recently released the Frank Nuovo-designed M1 smartwatch collection (hands-on here, with interview). Frank Nuovo is a former head of design at Nokia and designed the M1 collection-which I thought was actually pretty interesting.Anyhow, even though META is putting considerable resources behind the M1 smartwatch collection, it is only the start of what Bill feels are a series of major evolutionary steps for the smartwatch industry. META doesn’t just
