Why Monopusher Chronographs Are Primitive & A Brief History Of The Chronograph Watch Complication
“Not just a chronograph, Ariel, but a monopusher chronograph!” I’ve heard phrases such as this over the years in the context of watch brands showing me their new single pusher (monopusher) chronograph watches, and I’ve never felt comfortable hearing how we should be impressed by one- versus two-pusher chronographs. I previously wrote about this specific watch some time ago when I first learned about it. At that time I was only vaguely familiar with the watch, but was certainly intrigued. Now owning the watch myself, I have some thoughts and comments on Magrette watches, and this specific Regattare Kupe's V
