Habring2 Doppel 3 Split-Second Chronograph Limited Edition Watch
Habring2, the watch brand founded by the man behind the movement used in the IWC Doppelchronograph, has announced a very limited run of their Doppel 3 split-second monopusher chronograph. Made especially for the French language watch forum Horlogerie-Suisse, this limited edition run is comprised of just five pieces and bears a distinct dial design that will set it apart from the already exceedingly rare “standard” Doppel 3 chronograph.Like the standard version, this limited Doppel 3 utilizes the A08MR hand wound monopusher chronograph movement. Based on a Valjoux movement, the A08MR incorporates a specialized module designed by Richard Habring that significantly changes the movement to offer the split-second capability and monopusher operation. The pusher at two can start, stop and reset the chronograph measure while the pusher at ten activates the split function.
