Casio "Shock The World" Event Celebrates 30 Years Of G-Shock
G-Shock creator Kikuo IbeThis past week, Casio held their annual Shock The World event in New York City. We were on hand to witness the formal unveiling of several important upcoming models, and to partake in the festivities surrounding this year's special theme-30 Years of G-Shock. Special guests Jessica Stam, James Marsden, Book Lopez, and Louie Vito joined executives from Casio and hundreds of press, retailers, and VIPs to mark the occasion, which was topped off by none other than The Real Slim Shady himself-Eminem (which was awesome).Keeping with their tradition of going over the top, Casio announced not one or two-but almost a dozen new lines, models, and special editions. Also teased were new "Ultimate G-Shock"models coming in the next year: the Ultimate Iceman; Ultimate Heatman; and Ultimate Frogman.
