Counting Seven Million Seconds in Quarantine With The Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic 'True Second'
Marin County's shelter-in-place mandate was formalized at midnight on Thursday, March 19th, 2020. By then, the news cycle around the Covid-19 pandemic had already become a dangerous cocktail of science-based fact and rationale mixed with what we now know to be hysteria-driven clickbait and misinformation. Hiding from the cacophony meant a break from the source of discomfort, but this also meant fully sequestering oneself from even digital contact with the outside world and any steady stream of reliable information, ultimately exiting any real timeline of the madness. With simple but detailed styling that, much like their name, could be confused for German, Zeitwinkel is definitely worth a closer look.Zeitwinkel’s flagship model is the 273¡ã, a 42.5mm everyday dress watch that boasts multiple complications backed by their ZW 0103 in-house movement. The 273¡ã uses a steel case with both brushed and polished finishing that measures 13.8 mm thick including the domed and anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The display case
